• Speaking of Chris Rukan, he'll be a featured speaker at the Northwest region meeting of the Associated Press Sports Editors on Monday, Oct. 24.

The Seattle P-I and Ron Matthews is hosting. Chris will be talking about designing with impact. (Not the font).
I'll be there. We may get a lunch crew together if you want to chow down.

• I've written a second guest lecture at College Front Page.com. It's called "Career 101 for Designers."

• ON THE MOVE: Christoph Fuhrmans of the Detroit Free Press joins the talent-soaked staff now at the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

Steve Dorsey in Motown says they need somebody good - ASAP - to replace the Fuhrmans.
